In general MicroQuarz has a drying time of about 24 to 48 hours. During this time it is advisable not to walk around and it is advisable not to use it.
For example, if you have walls in a bathroom and they are inside the shower, it is advisable not to turn on the water in the shower for 24 hours after installation.
If you have a floor, you can walk on it after 24 or 48 hours, depending on the temperature and humidity in the environment. After this period of time, a process called curing starts.
The curing process is the time required for the coating to achieve the maximum adhesion, compressive and abrasion resistance.
During this period of time, which can vary between 15 and 30 days approximately (always depending on the temperature in the environment), the flooring will be acquiring its resistance.
This does not mean that you cannot use it, wet it or walk on it. You can. You just have to be careful not to subject the pavement to heavy traffic. If the work has to continue, it is always advisable to protect it very well or even to protect it from any blows or very strong abrasion, because during this period it has not fully achieved its maximum resistance and may receive a sentence that can then affect the aesthetics of the paving.
